This splatter guard is 1/3 smaller in size than the one I bought at Water Drake 30 years ago. I wish the larger size still was available. I have used my old one until it is finally falling apart at the hinges. I love it! This new one has a surface that is easier to clean and will make a great gift for friends, but it won't protect my stove top and back splash tiles as well as the larger sized one does, so I will keep the old!

This is our second order of the splatter shield. Our first one was in perfect condition but this second one was slightly bent in one corner and the nonstick coating had a splotchy spot that got missed with the coating, but it is still useful. I use the first splatter shield for surrounding splattering pans on the stove and I use the second one behind the sink to keep water from splattering on my kitchen window blinds and wall. When done using them, they easily fold up and tuck away til the next use. Rather than putting them in the dishwasher or rinsing in the sink, I use a NON-ammonia glass cleaner to degrease and clean the shields. Water on the shields seems to rust the crevices, so I use as little water as possible on them. [...] Otherwise, it is a great invention.

I love this thing...I use it all the time when I cook...it keeps my walls and stove from getting splatters from grease and tomato sauce...No more scrubbing the walls...just clean the one burner that I used and throw this in the dish washer...I use mine on the furthest burner out of the way so I don't have to reach over it because it will fall if it gets bumped.

I mostly use this splatter to prevent my gas range from the wind, so it doesn't go off. It's easy to clean and to store.

Was afraid to get a shield after reading another website review of how flimsy and rusty the shield gets. However, THIS shield is coated with a nice neutral greyish taupe color instead of a shiny metal finish and is fairly solid for how thin it is. I may order another because I use the shield for both the stove and for the back of the sink to keep sink window and walls free of splashing. Haven't used it in dishwasher yet because am constantly using it. Wipes up so clean with a damp paper towel and a TINY bit of foamy soap.

I have a new cook top and everytime I cook, especially frying, grease goes all over the stove and countertop. When I saw this item, I was hopeful that it would alleviate some of the mess. It does and am thrilled that you made it so easy to clean and store - that's a homerun in my book. Kitchen clean-up usually takes the longest time in cooking, and you have made it a lot easier.

Excellent for keeping grease splatters contained. Easy set-up, easy cleaning (dishwasher), flat, convenient storage. However, I just bought a glass-top range and the warnings about what to NOT use on that scare the bejeebers out of me. Not sure whether to use the shield or not.

I have used a spatter shield for about 40 years. I am now replacing it since one of the hinges is showing some wear. I also gave one to my daughter. It helps to contain spatters when frying.

I owned a splatter shield but it got lost when I moved. When I saw it on-line, I jumped at the chance to get another. It saves a lot of clean up when cooking, or frying. I use it around a sauce pan or a skillet. When it gets soiled I just spread it out in the dishwasher and it comes clean without a lot of scrubbing. I love it.
