Bought my first pair of "specs" from Walter Drake YEARS ago and was delighted to find they were still available. The end piece of one of the ear pieces on my old ones had come off, but that was the only problem in probably 15 or more years.

The frame got in the way of putting on eye make-up. The lens were too strong too see clearly. I could deal with my brows but nothing else. Had so looked forward to putting on eye make-up again after catarac surgery but not such luck.

Must take them to Lense Crafters so see if they can tighten the hinge so will stay upright.

It is difficult to keep both eyes open to apply makeup, while trying not to look through the eye that does not have the lens in front of it and trying to focus on the makeup application of that eye with the other eye.

One side flipped automatically therefore vision was not good when that side needed to be up.

After cataract surgery I had difficulty seeing to put medications in my eyes. These did the trick and they are inexpensive.

The eyes are healed from the surgery and now I use them to help apply my eye make-up.
