About Me Casual Cook
took it out of the package to wash, put the lid on a few times, tends to lift off in a couple of different places. The seal is not very good. I don't buy lettuce often but was looking for a decent bowl after my 20 yr old name brand one finally gave out. Guess I'll ave to find a heavy duty rubber band to keep the lid on tight.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is my second one and the first one is still in use. Now I can buy more than 1 head of lettuce at a time!
Can't get lid to seal
from Omaha, NE
I had high hopes for this lettuce keeper. The construction seemed a little flimsy, but not horribly so. The biggest problem is that no matter what you do, the lid doesn't seal properly. I've read the instructions and reviews and still no luck. I've had others try and they don't fare any better. The result is basically a plastic bowl to hold your lettuce, and it doesn't keep it fresh at all. Maybe I got a defective one, but in the meantime, it was a waste of money and I'll continue my search.

Foreign substance in plastic
By Alabama Husband
from Prattville, AL
Bought this for my wife and at first look was very happy with the product. On looking closer we noticed something that looks like dried leaf or tobacco leaf in the plastic itself. It is not on the plastic, but actually in the plastic. Neeedless to say, we will not use that one, but we are planning to buy another on the chance this one was a fluke.
I would by this again
