When I laid the mat on the dryer, I tucked the excess between the washer and dryer. It filled the space so the washer no longer can move when it goes into the spin cycle.Granted my arms got a work out from trying to hold the washer down, but this works so much better.I know this wasn't the intended use for the mat but I love it.Thank You

About Me Meticulous Cleaner
This is the perfect mat for my sons who do very little ironing. They share a small apartment and there is very little room for a regular ironing board. It will be great for the odd shirt that they may need to iron. I want one for myself as well for times that I have a small item to iron. This product is unavailable anywhere in Canada. Thanks for a practical product.

perfect for small places. I never liked the standard board to pull out of closet everytime I want to iron. This one stays on top of dryer, firm on its magnets and its really convenient.

With so few things even needing to be ironed now, I find this magnetic ironing mat exceedingly handy to have! Just put it on top of the washing machine and iron away. No need to haul out the ironing board for small jobs.

Perfect Solution

I keep the mat on my dryer so it's ready to go when I need to iron something quick. It also insulates the top of the dryer.
