Comments about Kitchen Sink Mat & Saddle Rack:
These prevent metal marks from pots and pans in a procelain sink and if I drop a plate while washing dishes they don't get chipped. I've had mine for over a year and yes they do warp if you dump anything hot on them and they do stain if you get tomato sauce or beet juice on them and don't rinse them off right away! If you do get a stain on them try a little bleach and a small brush to clean them up, so easy to clean. Any warping I fix by rotating it in my sink so the next time I dump hot stuff on them they straighten out. :)

Not for porcelain sinks

Works well with stainless sinks, as saddle is narrow and fits properly on the sinks with narrow dividers. Porcelain sinks are wider and saddle flares out and does not adhere to sides. Also, is easily stained with tomato or red pepper based dishes.

Does the Job but....

I have a family of six and therefore spend alot of time in the kitchen making meals and cleaning up. This product does protect your dishes from chips, however...This product stains very quickly and becomes dingy within a few weeks of first use. The mats curl and warp if you pour hot water on them. ie: draining pasta. Who wants to have to remember to take the mats out every time you have to drain hot water? Also the top of the saddle is lined with ridges that collect water and send it right to the edge of the sink and over onto the floor. Inconvenient with cold water, dangerous with hot water. If you are pouring boiling hot water and you accidently get the saddle it will send the boiling hot water straight to the edge where you are most likely to be standing and before you know what happened you are covered with VERY hot water. I do not recommend this product at all.
