Old classic like this is best to watch in B&W. The color that was added may be enhanced for the viewers who may yet like to watch in color.

Well we haven't watched the movies yet, my mom is planning on watching them with my niece so hopefully they're all in good condition when the time comes. I was disappointed that 6 dvd's come in one set because they can easily be scratched, but as long as you take care of your dvd's I suppose it shouldn't be a problem. Other than that though[...] it definitely brings back memories from when my grandma watched the movies with my sisters and I. Although it's an 18 set I think there's two movies missing from the collection to make it 20 because I have the VHS collection, but we have two different movies included of 18 and the dvd collection on here has 18 movies, but two are different from what we have. So perhaps there's two other movies out there.....

This was a gift to my 87-year old Mom. She told me there is no instruction on how to change from the b/w to the color versions. She lives in another city so I can't help her long distance.

Fantastic Price - Timeless Collection

I searched for this Collection online and Walter Drake had the very best price. GREAT BUY at a FANTASTIC PRICE!!! Each DVD gives you an option to watch it in Black & White or in Color. I always loved watching Shirley Temple as a child with my mother, enjoyed watching her with my daughter, and now with my grand-daughter. These shows are simply timeless and have become a family treasure!
