I already have this cute little towel in blue. It's handy alright, but I would like it more if it were just a tad longer and a LOT more ABSORBENT! Since the top is the best functioning part, I cut off the inefficient towel part leaving the top 2" and sewing on a more absorbent kitchen towel I bought at the local dollar store. I hate wasting time & money altering things that should have been made correctly in the first place, but it wasn't worth the return shipping cost to send it back. But now after a bit of tweaking, it works great. BOTTOM LINE: It costs more than what I think it's worth overall.

I was so excited to find a kitchen towel that actually had a true Hunter Green color. The towels looked great until I washed them. Used cold water, Tide, on gentle cycle, and partial light dry cycle, and finished line drying. After the towels were completely dried overnight, I noticed that the green in the towel itself had faded into the white part. This was not the top attached holder part, it was the actual towel itself. What a disappointment. I was going to purchase more, but have changed my mind. I already purchased four. I can only imagine what they will look like when I put them in the regular cycle, which I won't at this point. What a shame.

the cloth is not terry, it has more of a rayon feel. Have not washed it so do not know how it will do.
