get a better grip by adding surgical tubing to the prongs used to pick up and you can pick up a dime---surgical tubing can be purchased at a medical surgical shop.

I pick up small twigs acorns trash from the outside yard and lawn.saves your back-- not having to keep bending over.none

Getting in cabinet above refrigerator. Good, long handle. Bought one for a relative that has trouble bending/stooping.
Don't Pick up Heavy Items with This

This has a plastic grip, and heavy items slip from its grasp. It's fine for small light items, but you will find yourself purchasing one with rubber grips that is more heavyweight, probably from a medical supply house. This is just an add-on.

This is actually nice. I have all types, and this one doesn't have little rubber tips screwed on to break off. While it doesn't fold, nor does it have any hole in it to be able to hang it (that would have been the most helpful), it is very sturdy, and picks up things heavier than my aluminum folding one can. I recommend this as back up for when the others break, and I keep it in rooms that I don't need a folding one. I recommend this highly, especially at Drake's price.
