Not 8 inch pans
By Sue from Cypress
from Benton, La
Comments about Easy Release Cake Pans - Set Of 2:
I ordered 8 inch pans like it is stated in the description, and the pans measure 9 inches, so they are not what I wanted.

About Me Avid Cook
they do rust in the dishwasher, so wash by hand. I use the dishwasher and just put a little oil on them when they come out. These are a little larger than they say BUT I have tried mine on several recipes and they work perfectly despite the larger size, it is about 1/2 " bigger but this has caused no problems. I am here to buy more. I love these.

not 8" pans
from Seattle WA
If you're looking for 8" (not 9") pans, these aren't it. I already have 9" ones and they look to be better quality than these.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

I am so glade i received a catalog
from Vida, La.
This product was available years ago, my mother used this product. It was no longer available in the quality and strenght of previous years. Thank goodness for Walter Drake catalog. Would do it all over again, and still checking out catalog for other items.

My Grandmother had pans like these when I was growing up, so they have been around from many years. When she passed away, they were used by my Mom. I was excited to find them again, I orderd a set and LOVE THEM.. Best cake pans ever!!! AND they are good for making cornbread also.
Too Slanted for Cake Pans
By Miss Pris
from Bonaire, GA
I enjoy doing a lot of cake baking and was looking forward to using these pans. However, they're way too slanted...more like a pie pan than a cake pan. Layer cakes don't stack well for icing. If you're wanting a single layer cake, then these pans are fine. Othewise, keep looking for a cake pan with straight sides.
Have not used them yet.

Haven't used them yet, but have used similar pans in the past. Guarentees release w/o ruining cake.
I use nothing but the easy release cake

Your cakes will come out of the pans whole and not in pieces.
