Comments about Microwave Popcorn Maker:
I've used mine regularly for two years (did have to replace once b/c I broke one of the rather flimsy plastic locking clips). I've not had the same problems as some of the other reviewers. I rarely use oil, all my kernels pop, the popped corn is not sticky, and it is easy to melt butter pieces on top of the hot, popped corn. Perhaps the problems of poor quality popped corn stem from the lack of adequate popping instructions. Tips: don't begin by adding too much popcorn to the popper or all the kernals will not pop (start out with about 3 Tbsp. of popcorn and if that amt. doesn't completely fill the bowl, add a little more the next time). Also, when the popcorn is finished popping, don't leave it covered in it's bowl or the steam inside will make the popcorn sticky and moist. If the popcorn burns, you've left it in the microwave too long ... take it out of the microwas as soon as you no longer hear the kernals popping.

This is the greatest. So easy, fast and much better than microwave popcorn. I like making a fast snack and putting the lid on if I don't finish it all. .

Perfect afternoon snack size

Great for afternoon snack at work. Much better popcorn flavor than bagged microwave popcorn. I control what I am using to make the popcorn. No problems with burning popcorn, but seems like too many unpopped kernels.

Just what I wanted!
from Sandy Springs, GA
As a single woman this makes just the right amount of popcorn for a snack! And you can season it however you want to! Those microwave bags always make too much.

Slightly disappointed with the item, but it may be my own fault. I thought I would be able to pop the corn without using oil/butter. Guess I was looking for an air popper. Also, the instructions did not give the amount of kernels to add. Powdered flavoring in the bottom does not work well.
not as I expected
I like hotair popcorn, I did not know that you had to use some tipe of oil. It does make the pop corn very well. I like the idear of serving it in the same bowl. All in all its not bad.
