Comments about Microwave Pot:
I love this pot but the microwave affects the walls of the pot after awhile. That makes it hard to clean. The handle is weak. For an arthritic person you must use two hands and a pot holder for underneath. I hope the manufacturer would strengthen the handle. It is lightweight which is helpful to arthritis folks. All in all, I used the first one, threw it out and buying another. I am sure the manufacturer is happy about that.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

We steam veggies a lot
Lid needs work
The lid doesn't stay on very well. Definitely use two hands to drain. Doesn't hold much either.

Can't Live Without

Best use is frozen vegetables. Put veggies in pot with 2-3 tablespoons of water, microwave 4 minutes, drain and serve. Get two for two servings of vegetables for healthy dinners. Lid keeps veggies warm while completing dinner preps. Toss with 1 TBL of diet margarine and some garlic salt--Yum! Easy to clean, goes in top shelf of dishwasher. Can't live without it.
