About Me Budget Shopper
Comments about Step Edger:
The large bolt was missing, had to wait for another, However I did not have to return the unusable item. The blade keeps moving because I cannot get the bolts tight enough
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

It's hard work
from Auburn, WA
It took me 2 days to put together but it was simple after a few attempts. The ground I was edging was very wet so it just kinda mushed the grass into the crevice. It is a good idea but would like to try in better weather. For the price it is o.k......I think but not for a lot of edging....I am 65 and have a small lot!

Good for 15 minutes

Used the tool in recently turned soil - worked great. Got to grassy turf, and on the 3rd or 4th step, the blade bent to the side, making it unusable. My husband straightened out the blade with a hammer and added additional wood strips below the foot step to help support the blade and keep it straight. Will use only to edge grass in soft soil.

I would not buy this product again.

I was disappointed that I had to assemble it. Also I tried it. It didn't cut through the grass. Maybe I am not heavy enough. It doesn't do what the picture shows.

The assembly was a pain. I was worried about getting cut when trying to put it together. It was not effective-the blade bent during first use.
