Ok price but you get what you pay for
About Me Budget Shopper
Comments about The Abigail Chenille Bedspread King:
I bought it for my king size bed for the summer months. With the new pillow top mattress you will need to buy one in a bigger size. I was excited to find a chenille bed spread for the summer months at a great price but you get what you paid for. It is thin and the chenille is in the design not the whole bedspread. I washed it as soon as I received it because it was so stiff. After I put it on my bed I noticed with my new pillow topped mattress it was a little small but I have a bed skirt to make up the difference. All is all I do like the way it looks but if you want a true chenille bedspread shop around and read the reviews before you buy it.

I like this King bedspread!
About Me Midrange Shopper
I actually liked this bedspread and liked the soft pastel yellow color that was sent. It was easy to launder and it fit my king bed nicely. It is true that it is on the thin side, but this is what I wanted. I had ruined a front loader with a heavy cotton bedspread recently to the tune of $900 in repairs. I wanted a "thin" cotton bedspread that I could launder easily and this one fits the bill. I will probably be purchasing another one soon.

choose something else!

I have always had excellent results when shopping with Walter Drake, however, I doubt if this review will be published. I wrote to the company and have not as yet heard back. I had already discarded our "old" bed dressing and we were expecting company so I had no time to send the bedspread back. Both of the shams were fine, but the spread had four large faded spots, fortunately they were not on the entry to the room side.

Not the color on monitor.

I know each monitor is different; but there was no way this "light yellow" had even a hint of yellow. It's really a beige, ecru or antique white. I ended up taking the chance of dying it a lemon yellow with Rit fabric dye, and it turned out to be the color I wanted in my color scheme, and luckily the fabrice dyed all one color with no patching of color. So if you're looking for any type of yellow, it's not this one. Dimensions were as noted in description.
