The worst ever!
Comments about Over The Door Metal Storage Rack:
I was so excited to get this. I didn't put anything heavy this. I anchored this with twist ties as suggested on other websites. I tried to use more stable anchors with double side tape as suggested by other websites. This is the biggest piece of garbage I've ever bought. I could have thrown $20 out the window. Removed it the next day.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

A Piece of Junk
from Calimesa, CA
I purchased this to hold bottles of marinades and salad dressings. It came in two pieces and the bottom 3 shelves attach with a weird long hook. Problems: It completely collapsed and broke, all of the marinades and oils crashed and most of them broke inside the pantry making a horrible mess. The way it has to hook on top is designed wrong because it swings back and forth like a child on a swingset. That is, when it doesn't push away from the door and everything falls down the back to the floor. We even tried tying it to the doorknob to prevent it from swinging. Too late. Very unhappy. Do not buy this
metal storage rack
ok,so it's not so "over the door". it has hangers but does not stay in place. but as much as doors open and close, what do you expect!?as for the quality and durability including the price.....excellent!! i have one of these and am purchasing another!!! i simply separated the two pieces and have them hanging on the wall. i chose to have one in my bathroom and one in my closet to hold cleaning supplies. exactly what i was looking for!!! thankyou Walter Drake!!!
Not bad for Price

Cannot use for heavy items. I put rice & pasta pouch sides on it, pouches of croutons, pouches of muffin mix. you get the idea. Frees up shelf space for heavy things.
It works, glad I got it

I am glad that I purchased this rack and I would recommend it. You may want to limit its use to lighter spices rather than canned goods. I've loaded mine up and I definitely need to keep the top hooks (that hang over the door) as wide apart as they can get to distribute the weight such than it does not bow up at the top under the weight of the whole rack. For the price and what it is, it is an excellent deal. I bet it would be plenty sturdy if you separated the two sections and used them separately. But, like I said, if you do not use it for canned goods, you should be fine.

I use this as extra storage place on a pantry door. It is great for spices, and many other food boxes. Really gives lots of added storage space.
Only good for small items
from Berlin, NJ
My cleaning supplies were stuffed into a small under the sink cabinet. I thought this would be a great idea to make them easier to find, but although the bottles fit into the shelves, because the front part is so short, when the door is closed, the bottle fall out and down the cellar steps. The idea is great, and if the use is for small items, I would recommend it.
since this rack came in 2 pieces,i seperated it to store my cleaning products. i tried "over the door",but it had NO stability whatsoever! but it works for me now,in fact i think i'll get another "set" for my paperback books. just hang with 2 small nails...yup its perfect!
