Works great to hold bacon flat and cooks bacon on both sides at once. You can view the bacon and know when it's done. Can be used to hold hamburgers flat and prevent swellng in the center of the burger.

I like that you can see the bacon while cooking. Unfortunately the handle was simply junk plastic that is secured to the plate with a metal screw. The screw socket melted when heat transfered up the shaft from the pan and pulled off the plate the 1st time I used it. I have since replaced the handle with an old ceramic handle with a metal screw well and it works great now.

I am on my second bacon press. Like the first one, it lasted about two weeks. The handle strips off the screw holding it to the glass. No money back, your just out of luck. It will be the last one and last item I order

This is great for keeping bacon from curling. However, to keep the glass from cracking you need to place it on top of bacon as soon as you put it in your skillet. Then the glass will heat with the bacon and won't crack.

This press cracked the 1st time I used it. I had to throw out the food in the pan and start over. Breakfast was delayed and I hate wasting food.

The screw that holds on the handle has a round head, which extends about 1/8" or more. This will lead to the scratch resistant coating on the pan being scratched. Would have been a much better product if they would have beveled the hole in the glass, and used a flat head bolt.

This see-through press is better than the heavy ones made from cast iron. It also works well with sausage patties. I even use it for a top on a pot that doesn't have a lid. Easy to clean.

I love this bacon press, I think they are the greates things. I already have one but I bought another one to use at the family cabin. It cooks the bacon evenly and you don't have to fight the bacon as it doesn't crunch up.

For the bacon lovers who does'nt like micro wave cooked bacon .This is the perfect item.There are no splatters and the bacon is cooked even on both sides the only thing that I dislike about this item is that the press is'nt big enough for the amount of bacon I cook.I would recomend this Item to anyone who loves bacon.
