We put it on the patio because the birds were messing up all our patio furniture. They don't seem to be coming on the patio now.

Put both of the bird scarer wind socks up as soon as I saw that the robins were back. They try their best to build nests in the open shed every year. The windsocks scared them away without harming them. They really work and I am very happy with the product,

Good, fun appearance. Sparkled in sunlight, but it didn't chase the birds away.

These bird scarer wind socks do not at all scare the birds. They continue to land right next to them blowing in the breeze or standing still. A complete waste of money.

Would not recommend this product. Very poor construction. Strong winds blow strads away.

I keep it at my dock to help keep birds away from the boat and also, is great as a wind direction indicator.
