It is great for small quantaties. What I use it for mostly is to mix ingredients in my glass measuring cups which have flat bottoms and this gets to all ingredients. Used it to whip some instant pudding and it seemed that it did it in 3/4s of the stated time. If you are into gadgets, you'll love it.

Very disappointed. The FIRST time I used this whisk it broke! The handle came out of the base, and it looks as if it was never soldered together at all. Again, very disappointed.

I had wanted to have breakfast eggnogs again. But it would be almost impossible to clean the too close together fat wire that makes up the coil of the whisk. I tried to get between the swirls to clean them and could not. The old fashioned ones used a thinner wire. Now I know why. It seems, too, that there is no way for the mashed food to get stirred by the wires since they almost overlap when pressed down. A slightly longer handle would make it easier to mix things in a drinking glass--but that was my bad for not checking it. Oh, well.

I've been regularly using this product and it works great, mixing food much faster then a normal whisk. It's also nice and small. The only downfall is washing it without a dishwasher is difficult especially if you don't wash it immediatley after use.

I am 63 yrs old and my mother always had one of these when i was a kid. she said every kitchen should have one.it is the handiet little tool. I have always had one but needed to replace it .They are very hard to find i was so happy to find them here. So i got one and ordered extra for all my kids. Walter Drake has alot of nice items you cant find anywhere else .

Greatest for making gravies, but also for mixing condensed soups,NO LUMPS with this whip,you can mash up and down as well as whip it around the bowl.
My absolute favorite whip of all.

purchased for making gravy as a replacement item. It works excellent while all is cold, once contents are hot, works well but you are in the heat, handle is too short.

This is one item that gets constant use in my kitchen. I have had one for many years. For breakfast, we use it for scrambled eggs, for french toast, for one-eyed jacks.
Other meals, it is used for making thickenings, white sauces, salad dressings,dissolving gelatins, etc, and numerous other mixings. This senior citizen cannot be without it,
