Handy tool for the kitchen but......
from Indian Hills, CO
I was happy to find this so much so I ordered three of them. However of the three only one stayed together... the other two came apart at the whisk base. My husband is figuring out a way to soder them together without me worrying about the chemical base of the soder material getting into the food. I ave not seen anyone else with this problem on these reviews..so perhaps I was just unlucky to get this bad batch. This are a basic kitchen tool that everyone should have so I do recommend to others.

coil wire whisk

It's a cool smaller whisk that's very sturdy even my kids like using it.
Easy Whip Ups with this Whisk

Great for gentle and complete whisking of eggs, light sauces, light batters (like tempura), salad dressings, hot chocolate, and much more.

Great for using with flat bottomed pans

It is great for small quantaties. What I use it for mostly is to mix ingredients in my glass measuring cups which have flat bottoms and this gets to all ingredients. Used it to whip some instant pudding and it seemed that it did it in 3/4s of the stated time. If you are into gadgets, you'll love it.

7" Coil Whisk

Very disappointed. The FIRST time I used this whisk it broke! The handle came out of the base, and it looks as if it was never soldered together at all. Again, very disappointed.

I'm sorry I got it
from Seattle, WA.
I had wanted to have breakfast eggnogs again. But it would be almost impossible to clean the too close together fat wire that makes up the coil of the whisk. I tried to get between the swirls to clean them and could not. The old fashioned ones used a thinner wire. Now I know why. It seems, too, that there is no way for the mashed food to get stirred by the wires since they almost overlap when pressed down. A slightly longer handle would make it easier to mix things in a drinking glass--but that was my bad for not checking it. Oh, well.
