Not very good
Comments about No Glare Visor Extender:
Get the one with the clips. MUCH better! I bought two of these and one with the clips, and this one is useless. The elastic straps slip out any time you try to move the visor, and it does not 'stay' in any position like the one with the clips. Just either up or down, no angle mobility at all. I would return both of mine but they were so cheap I'd probably spend more on shipping htem back!
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

There is some distortion looking trough the visor and it the elastic slips out of plastic holders very easily when folding it down for use.

from spooner, wi
the clips don't fit well on our visor because of the mirror. we put the extender to one side with one of the clips under the mirror cover and it is okay now. clips tend to slip down on visor due to thickness of visor.
By Pat the Cat
I have two of these on the drivers side. One us use as extra sun filter with visor up and one to use as sun filter with visor down when sun hits below visor. I also have one on the passenger side for my Mom who is not quite five feet. With visor down this acts as regular visor for her. Love these and so does she.

It is a great idea, but the clips are too small for my Visor. I guess my visor is too thick for the clips. I should have found out before I purchased it.

About Me Auto Enthusiast
Really good for shorter passengers and drivers.
So far this product seems okay.
from Arnold, CA.
This product is a little smaller than I expected and a bit on the 'cheap side. Overall it has so far done it's job to a point, but if were a little wider and the mounts weren't so difficult and attached so flimsily it would definately be worth the [$] I paid for it.
I liked this product it suit the purpose

Poor quality and bad design
from Cinnaminson, NJ
This is a bad design. The clips will not go over the visor if there is a mirror or the visor is paded. There is a gap between the visor and the shield that lets in glare
I would be a repeat customer.
from Adolphus, KY
This visor is great. It really keeps Mom happy trying to deal with that late afternoon sun. She has maculardegeneration. The bright sun is blinding. This helps a bunch!
*extender attached easily & is perfect

It is on the front passenger viser because my front seats are low and the regular visor doesn't go down enough. This works perfectly

No Glare Visor.
By Mrs. C
from Atlanta, GA
This product was exactly what I was hoping for. However, I did not know that my car visor was so thick and hard, making it hard to get the no-glare visor to go on to the car visor. I have made it work now and am so happy that I am no longer blinded by the glare of the late afternoon sun.

Mounts easy and stays in place. Great value for money. Easy to use. It would be nice in a smoke tint rather than green. For my use needs to be longer - 16 to 18".

definitely cuts down on the glare from a sun rise or sun set but I can't wear my sunglasses with it as it is too dark then.
So effective we bought a second pair!
By pleased Oh. couple
from Sheffield Village, Oh.
Good value, not too dark, don't leave extended in hot weather when exiting prevents warping, great small gift for anyone who drives, very easy to install, very adjustable,my wife wanted a pair and I bought a second pair for my car after seeing how effective.

By the desert
from El Paso, TX
This helps with the glare of the sun and still allows for me to see the traffic lights. However dont leave it down while in a parked car. With direct sunlight during an extended amount of time it will warp.

I used to be blinded by the sun
from Brecksville, OH
Before this product arrived at my home, I was travelling Westbound in the evening and the sun blinded me so badly that I almost drove into the car in front of me. I can now drive with comfort and safety!
This is the product to buy
from Albany GA
I had bought a similar product from another company with stretch straps which would not hold the visor in place. This product offered by Walter Drake is 100% better because the plastic clips hold the visor in place. Great product.
Slides off easily
from Visalia, CA
My wife uses it on the passenger side of the car because she is short. But it needs real care to keep from coming off the regular shade, takes both hands. Once in place it does a good job.
not too sturdy, but does the job
The visor blocks the sun well, but the product did come out of its clip. It was easy to clip back into place, but makes me question how long it will last.

About Me Auto Enthusiast, Casual Driver, Mechanic
Does not leave a gap between the visor like most do. This is good so you don't get the sun between the two. Clips are strong.
This is great when I enciunter strong sun glare in the morning. You can still see clearly and it's wonderful.
It does what the description indicates.
It is very handy in Florida specially at sundown when I am driving with the sun in eyes and my sunglasses are not enough. The visor is too dark so I have to take my sunglasses off to be able to see well.It works well for the front and the side windows.Overall I am glad I have it.

clips doesn't stay on visor
By the duck
from seattle, wa
it needs stronger clips to hold on to the visor for when you try to put down the visor the clips slide down with it... it need metal clips to stay put and not move when you are trying to put it down while you are driving on the road.....
Helps with Driving
I often drive into the sun and this helps a bit.
No Glare Visor Extender

About Me Casual Driver, Sports Car Driver
It works great at keeping the bright sunlight out of your eyes, but it's too big and bulky. Also, hangs way too low, making it difficult to see traffic light colors.

Attached No-Glare Visor Extender to my car's visor. It works just fine. I gave one to a friend who is enjoying it. Local stores had visors that left a gap below the car's visor. Your visor does not. Thanks

I am very happy with this visor. The visibility is clear, it was very easy to install. I recommend this to everyone.
Really cuts glare!
from Las Vegas, NV
This visor is "heavy duty" plastic - I have seen "clip-on" visors before and they are usually quite flimsy. The ONLY problem was getting used to how dark they are, but at the time of day when your normal visor can't keep that setting (or rising) sun out of your eyes, this addition is GREAT! The only drawback is when using on the driver's side, the clips might hamper opening the visor mirror.

from Florence AL
This visor extender works well when you need to drive home in the evening down a highway heading west, into the sun.It cuts the glare but doesn't hinder vision.
from Youngsville NC
About Me Long daily commute
This product is easy to install, and just as easy to put away when not in use. Works well to block the sun's glare, but does not interfere with driver's vision. Money well spent. Recommended it to several friends at work. They love it too.
I love my visor extenders.
Love my extenders, a little to dark, but I'm very short and seat low in the set so the sun comes in below the sunvisor it hits me in the face, this extenders covers that area.
Good idea in theory but not in use!
from Wilson, NC
Didn't love it - it was very dark to see through and it melted being in the hot car. It also would blow up if I had it on driver side window with window open.

What a great idea!
from Fort Wayne, IN
About Me Drive for a living
The sun block visor is great for those who are "height handicapped" when it comes to using the sun visor installed in your vehicle.
I use it on the way to work when the sun glare is so great I cannot see the traffic lights. With the extended visor, my vision is clear.
I really love this visor
from Merritt Island, Fl
I feel that this visor is a lifesaver. I am a short person and I used to have to drive to work in the mornings with a hand up to block the blinding sunlight. With the extender visor I can keep both hands on the wheel without being afraid of having an accident because I can't see.
