I was expecting a "dish drying mat", interpreting the word mat as expecting some sort of absorbing material inside of the grid and on top of the hard plastic tray. It is all a hard plastic tray and the grid is attached to it. No absorbing material in it. I got used to the idea of that and think that it is ok to use as a dish and pot "Drainage Tray" which better describes it in my book. You just have to find somewhere to dry the drainage tray after draining it after each use. It will keep the counters dry - just wasn't as described. I would recommend it after describing it more honestly.

I use this to dry glasses, measuring cups...anything that I don't put in the dish drainer in the sink. I have so much more space now in my dish drainer for plates, pots & pans, etc. This is a great accessory if you do not have an automatic dishwasher! The only con is it's terribly hard to clean out those little rectangles.

I bought one of these years ago and it was getting in bad shape. It was old and had some chips out of it and it finally cracked in the middle. I was so glad when I found this in your catalog. It is the best dish drainer. I use my dishwasher for most things but for those things I prefer to wash by hand this is great to drain them on. When it gets dirty I just pop it in the dishwasher and it's as good as new. I really should buy another one just to keep on hand. I recommend this to everyone!!

I just love this. It is perfect for those items you don't want to put in the dishwasher. My old mat was always getting knocked a little out of place and I ended up with water on the countertop and often it spilled onto the floor. With this mat, movement doesn't matter, it catches all the water drainage and no more water messes.

I would used to place a dish towel and rest sharp knives, delicate glasses and plastic ware on it to dry. Now I use the drying mat and it is so much more efficient and clean looking, plus it is easy to store when not in use.

Handy to keep rinsed dishes on before I wash them. (Some things just don't work in the dishwasher.) Keeps water off the countertop. I keep an old washcloth under mine so it won't slide around on the counter.
