Foreign substance in plastic

Bought this for my wife and at first look was very happy with the product. On looking closer we noticed something that looks like dried leaf or tobacco leaf in the plastic itself. It is not on the plastic, but actually in the plastic. Neeedless to say, we will not use that one, but we are planning to buy another on the chance this one was a fluke.

This keeper is air tight. The lid locks in place and lettuce is kept from moisture by the spike inisde of container. This promises to keep your lettuce fresh every time.

I have two of these, my lettuce stays fresh and crisp for a month or more. One in RV, one in our home. Friends have tried it and asked me to order more for their family and friends. Don't know how we lived with them.

Super product! I like the fact that it is transparent, since I use it for other veggies besides lettuce. The 'bubble' top allows, if needed, for larger heads of lettuce. Seals tightly and keeps foods fresher for longer!

This product is great. I was a little skeptical, but once I used it I was sold. It adds weeks to lettuce storage. In a household with only 2 people, we discard a lot less "brown" lettuce that we use to.

Keeps lettuce very fresh and free from wilt...the only negative i see is that it takes up too much room, the one that is about half this size is what i really needed.
