I thought these were a gimmick, but, we live in the country and always had a problem with wasps around our hummingbird feeders (15 of them!) and nest on our huge deck and porch. Bought two of these and hung one in the middle of the deck and one at the far end of our long porch near the end of our line of hummingbird feeders. I can see the wasps come to the edge of the deck and about 5' from the edge of the porch, but, they won't come into the "zone"...the zone appears to be about 12 to 15'. Surprisingly simple, 24 hr, 7 day a week protection. Time will tell if they have the same "protection" for a long period of time, but, in the few weeks they've been up, they are doing the job.

Too easy to believe. We have yellow wasps not black so don't know if it really works. Still see wasps flying around. We are getting a good laugh when people see it.

Hung this on my front patio and wasps were completely gone in 3 days. Moved it to the back a few months later -- gone in 2 days! Once they are gone you can take it down. They don't come back.

About Me Novice
I hung it in my outside deck area because we get a lot of wasps and bees. This is the only product that I've ever seen that claims to KEEP THEM AWAY. So far, it seems to reduce the number of stinging bugs and how long they swarm around. The big bumble bees are not too affected by it. They still come around, but don't hang out as long. Wasp control is much better.

About Me Getting Started
Filled waspinator with old grocery plastic bags to keep it puffy. It really does keep the wasps away. Have not had one wasp build a nest in my stove vent after placing this close by.

For the first time ever, we are able to enjoy our deck without wasps nesting in our shutters. Have ordered two more for different locations around the house. No wasp stings this summer!!
