          I use the straps to keep the sheets in place on our deep mattress. They are effective in what they do...can't get more basic than that. I really like the metal clips.

                        They hold a bed pad in place which had elastic around the edges. The elastic has no more stretch in it so the straps are needed.

                                    I bought these for a specific purpose where I needed 18 inch length. However, when opened as far as possible only stretches to 16 inches. I created the added length using a piece of woven cloth and attaching the clip to the cloth, but would have been happier if they'd stretched to listed length. The gripper clips are very strong however.

                                        Does a good job of keeping sheets on bed but they should be a little longer. Even after the adjustment was made, it still was too short for regular and definitely thick pillow mattresses.

                                                  Multiple use item. I need more of these. Works perfect on my king sized waterbed frame with regular pillow top matress. Not more fighting with the sheets everyday - keeps them snug for days. Used on my bed in the RV - hard to find sheets that fit our beds - now I don't need to worry - just add the straps and I'm all set for the trip. Also used to help secure chair covers tiighly - just use one on the back of each chair and ajust. Voile! I find more uses all the time
