SUBSTANTIAL piece of Silicon, decent size and didn't require sissor cutting like previous ones I've owned. PROTECTS the glass tray in microwave, VERY EASY clean-up from spills ANDfor smaller items, this mat can actually be used to LIFT the food container (especially when HOT) on to the counter. This product is NOT flimsey and APPEARS it will last a good amount of time and use.

Keeps oven clean

Makes clean up a breeze.I got this because I broke the glass turntable when I took it out to clean and it cost $52 to replace. Now I just take the pad out and clean it. It's great for spill overs.
