The placard hanger is simple but wonderful. My placard was falling to pieces and I was not looking forward to waiting in line at the DMV for a replacement. I taped together the broken pieces of my placard, put them in the plastic sleeve and can actually hang my placard and get another year or more use from it.

i expected the gauge of this protector to be a bit heavier. if you take care of your handicap placard when it is not in use (i.e. storing it flat so it won't get bent), the only purpose this protector serves is keeping the placard clean. i probably would not make this purchase again.

I like this product, but...the part that goes onto the mirror breaks too easily. I used this for one week, when the 'handle' broke off. I had to tape it to use again.

Getting my handicap placard up around the rear view mirror of my car has ALWAYS been a pain in the neck. If you don't do it "just so" it won't go and I can never do it without moving the mirror, so that it has to be readjusted. Then it curls, from being out in the hot sun. With the placard holder that I purchased from Walter Drake, my placard slides easily inside, the "hook" that goes over the mirror is large and wide, so that it slips right over, without disturbing the position of the rear view mirror at all. AND, the placard is now being held firmly in the holder, so it does not curl in the sun, making it difficult to store in between uses. I couldn't be happier ... and the price was reasonable, too :-)

This is really not strong plastic at the top where you hang it on the mirror. It can break very easily. Should be made with better plastic at that point. Over than that it's a good product but I have had to replace it twice now.

Multiple Uses: Purchased for my mom's handicap placard however it is coated so it was not a problem yet, however we attend baseball games where the parking pass is cheaply made&the top tore after just a couple uses. The handicap was even sometimes hard for my mom to hang with her arthritis&this holder makes it much easier for her

Tag holder is very large. Our state handicap tag only fills about 1/2 the holder. Would be nice if this product was offered in different sizes. Hook part (that goes over the rear view mirror) is very flimsy and breaks easily. That part alone should be made of heavier material.

This period in my life has changed a lot. I had major, major back surgery and things CHANGED. I had to buy many things that were previously taken for granted. Thank God the Walter Drake catalogue came in my mail. Many items, including this placquared holder was available, and allowed the day to go buy much easier. My first placard was torn and tattered. I taped it and even remade the hanger it was so worn. When I recieved my knew placard I placed it in the placard holder. Now my placard is easy to hand on the mirrow with a large hook, and does not get broken and cracked because it is protected by the holder. I love it!

I had already replaced my Handicap Placard once, but with this plastic sleeve, no more replacing.

This is the first time I bought or even could find a plastic placard sleeve. I just hope it don't become brittle and break the top hook off as the handicap placard from the licence bureau did in a couple months. Cold weather may have also caused my original handicap placard to break, so we'll have to see.

I had noticed that the handicap tag was curling and some fading in our Florida heat. Saw this in your catalog and ordered this protective handicap tag holder and it keeps the tag straight and the design of the holder is clear so that you can still see around the tag. I ordered an extra one for us (for each car) plus two for some of my friends.

A North Carolina Handicap Placard will not Fit in this holder. It is is longer and sticks out the top. That interferes with hanging on rear view mirror. Need a larger size.
