Comments about Side View Blind Spot Mirror:
It's fairly easy to install, but you have to have power mirrors to install the clip that comes with it. I actually used sharp point lil screws to anchor mine Permanently to my mirrors. If you have regular mirrors then I would suggest getting sharp point lil screws so you could anchor it to the mirror frame.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend

These are used for my safety and the safety of others on the road. Had been looking for this kind of product for years and gives the best view of any blind spot mirror I've used. Installed two more pair on my sisters car and her grandsons car Would and will advise anyone to purchase them without reservation.

I now have purchased six of these to put on various vehicles. Easy to install and the additional viewing area is excellent for increased safety with blind spots. Wonderful product!

About Me Casual Driver
These mirrors are easy to install. Put them on top of my side mirrors. Love the wide view, especially on four lane highways. Clarity is great. Can see any car that comes up beside my car. Will tell my friends about them.
Will purchase again

Better instructions needed
This blind spot mirror is an excellent idea, but the installation instructions are unfathomable. The little metal bracket is a total mystery, leaving only the two-sided tape to keep it attached. Therefore, it looks like it might come loose with the slightest bump. If the installation instructions could be improved, it probably would be a great product.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend
POOR INSTALLATION AND DIAGRAM TO ATTACH
from Monroe. NY
I have attached the double sided tape ok. But, I can't seem to figure out how to attach the bracket with the 2 screws. Please advise.

This convex mirror widens your field of vision on the highway when you must make quick decisions about wether or not it is safe to change lanes. Affordable so that you can get one for each side. They indicate that it is made of glass, but the ones that were sent to me seem like acrylic-which may be safer anyway. Helpful on the passenger side for those of you who are teaching someone to drive and/or those of you who like to see what's going on when you are a passenger. Did not come with installation instructions but they were e-mailed to me upon request and were easy to install securely and tightly with the included metal wrench device once I understood how to do it. If installed properly, they will not come off on the highway or in the car wash. This is a safety product that can prevent accidents. I had to install mine on the top of my side mirror to maintain the ability to fold in the mirror when needed. Until more auto manufacturers include better blind spot detection systems, this type of product is your best bet.
