Comments about Padded Toilet Seat and Lid:
Since I was replacing a padded toilet seat cover which was really padded, this one was skimpy on the padding and not that comfortable. I had to use it because my former one was unusable and I had company staying over night and using this bathroom!

Standard size is 17

At time of ordering I was concerned what "standard size" meant since sizes change in the industry and one has to make adjustments so what is sold will fit what you have. So please note, in this case they mean 17" from seat's posts to front edge of seat. My old seat is 16.5" and the new seat works fine.Con, I wish the plastic was thicker. I am fearful that it will tear easily. Also padding seems too litte and it might flatten out quickly. My original padded seat didn't have those two possible faults and lasted 25 years. However, I plan to keep this sear since I can't find a padded seat locally, and right now I'm happy with it.
