A really good value. Microwave and dishwasher safe.Good size soup mugs.We use them for more than soup. Shopped for soup mugs a long time before finding these.Couldn't believe I got all4 at the price others wanted for 1.

It's a lot easier to take a two-handled cup of hot soup, stew, or chili out of the microwave. It's also easier to use a design like this when eating casually on a backyard picnic table (or if working while eating, for that matter). For those who find their hands don't work quite like they used to, these bowls aren't too heavy, but they are sturdy. You get the picture -- nice design, and I don't mind the rustic look, but I could do without the "SOUP" label. After all, you can use it for salads, cobblers or shortcakes, and a lot of other things. It would be nice if you could order in a choice of different colors/all the same color, or buy additional bowls without buying a whole additional set, or get other colors such as blue or red.

I had been looking for bowls with handles because my daughter often eats on the couch. These bowls are perfect...sturdy but not too heavy. Very easy to clean. Just the right size for us, too. The only thing I would change is the design, way too country for me, lol.
