great bird feeder pole
from Dallas, Texas
I now have three of these, two are two armed and the third is four armmed. I really like this because of it's portability. birds generrally drop a lot of seeds which after awhile create a ,ess. I move this around the yard to avoid excess seeds in one spot. I plan on using one or both of the other poles to hang plant. only negative thing is I wish the ground end prong was a bit sharper so it's easier to get in ground. stll a good product.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend
NOT AS EXPECTED
from COLUMBUS, OH
WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THIS ITEM. TOP POLE HAD TO FIGHT TO GET IT IN THE HOLE, NOT MUCH TO PUT IN GROUND TO HOLD UP, I PUT A BIRDHOUSE ON IT AND HAD TO TAKE IT DOWN BECAUSE MY SON MADE IT FOR ME AND IT WAS READY TO FALL OVER (POLE) MIGHT HAVE BEEN OK IF MORE OF THE POLE COULD BE PUT IN THE GROUND TO GIVE IT MORE SUPPORT.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have it holding the very colorful windsock out in a field. It works perfectly and looks great from my window.
Love this but could be stronger
About Me Master Gardener
Being an AVID birder I have feeders EVERYWHERE. I use this pole for my feeders and love it because I can move it around the yard in order to avoid seeds collecting in same spot. I typically move this on mow day (1x weekly) so due to wear and tear, plus Texas's clay soil, the bottom spikes bend and I see rust beginning. I do water a lot though, so it's to be expected.

THE BIRDS, BEES, & BUTTERFLIES LOVE IT!
from Los Angeles County, CA
Just HAD to write this second review on the 4-arm yard pole! It is holding up very well these past two weeks. We did not push the stake into the ground - we dug a hole, then packed the soil over the pole's base. We have one bird feeder on each arm - a small plastic lantern-style birdseed feeder, a small plastic strawberry-style hummingbird feeder, and two very small tube hummingbird feeders. The finches and sparrows love to perch on the lantern feeder and on top of the 4 arms of the pole, the Ruby-throat and Anna's hummingbirds love the strawberry and tube feeders, the bees (we like to encourage them) use the hummingbird tube feeders and the birds and the bees all take turns and get along. We've also seen a couple Swallowtail butterflies attracted to the sweet nectar feeders. The pole is a well-painted, shiny black and we rub insect spray above the base of the pole once a week to keep ants and insects from getting to the feeders. We like the birds, bees and butterflies but not the ants and the creepy crawlers! If you've hesitated to invest in this yard pole, take it from us and give it a try! It stands tall but is in easy reach for tending to the feeders every day.
