Comments about Bamboo Toast Tongs:
These tongs are used constantly at our house! A very good purchase! It would be even better if there were a longer version. Longer would improve use in toaster ovens, regular ovens, use in serving such as at a buffet type event, retrieving items in a deep container, etc. Maybe in 9, 12, or even 15 inch. We would use all those sizes! If you are wavering, you will be happy you bought these tongs!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

DOES NOT WORK

I don't know others recommend this thing. I sent it back because it can't do what it's supposed to. To grab a piece of toast, the 2 prongs need to taper toward each other as they approach the toast. But these taper away from the toast, so the tips don't touch the toast at all. And there's no construct that lets you make the two tips approach each other to clamp down on the toast. This is a lemon.
