TO SEE IF IT S BETTER THAN COOKING ON STOVE
HENRIETTA R on Aug 14, 2018
My husband likes poached eggs and I don't likle to fix them because of the mess and clean up later. So he fixes one at time. Thought this would serve the purpose
of quantity and cleanup using the Microwave instead of top of stove. Looks like a winner.

We have poached eggs several times weekly, but a hassle if more than 2 eggs, and poacher is hand wash only! Giving this a try!👍

I use another microwave egg poacher all the time, but it only cooks 2 eggs at a time. This one will make enough eggs for my family to all have their eggs done at one time, vs having to stagger when their food is available.

I have to practice a bit more with the timing on this in my particular microwave. My first few attempts were failures with unevenly cooked eggs. But I like the idea of quick preparation and easy clean up.

do i place in a bowl of water to microwave?
A shopper on Nov 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No you don't have to put it in anything, just follow directions and put it in the microwave. You can judge how long you want to leave them in to how well done you want the eggs. They come out great if you follow directions.
Is it BPA free?
A shopper on Apr 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I believe so but it was not a winner for me if you don’t puncture the eggs a lot the pop in the microwave and make a mess
When using egg poacher, what power level do you use?
J T on Nov 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. It depends on the microwave that you have. We recommend to not use high as that could result in overcooking. We hope this information will be of help to you.
I've used this multiple times, cooking at different power levels and different cook times. I was never able to get the yokes and whites to cook evenly. If the whites were done enough, the yokes were hard boiled. If the yokes were right, the whites were runny.
Any suggsetions?
