SpongEase™ reusable planting medium is made of organic, renewable coconut husk fiber, which allows plants to breathe easier and absorb more water and nutrients. Containing the exact coco peat growing media professional growers trust in their garden supplies, it assures plants live longer and healthier because roots won't rot—which is the number one reason for plant failure when using conventional potting soil. Arriving compressed for shipping, the SpongEase potting medium uses water to expand 5 times its original size, creating the ultimate in potting soil perfection. Light, fluffy and naturally free of insects and diseases, this growing medium is washed with low salt and a neutral pH of 5.5 to 6.5 for perfect growing. Simply soak one SpongEase™ brick in a mixing container with 9-10 cups of water, fluff up with a trowel or your hands when fully hydrated— and plant vegetables, fruits, berries, landscape plants, flowers and more. This growing medium for plants is also great for reptile bedding, worm farming and mushroom cultivation. Includes 1 SpongEase™ brick to fill 2-gallon container.
