IHow to display or pin the best way to the sofa? Is there an arrangement for using them on the sofa?
Best Answer: Depends on the type of cover you are using. I positioned them about 24" apart at the bottom of the cover that laps over tbe back of the sofa. Used them to keep the back cover from falling down onto the sofa seat. Don't pin along the front edge. It will cause the pins to tear the cover &/or the sofa. Also used a couple pins on the bsck of each arm.
Thank you for your question. There is no set arrangement style, you can choose to put the pins wherever you would like to on the furniture. We hope this information will be of help to you.
Thank You,
Walter Drake
They are mainly to put along the top of the couch or chair to keep the covers from falling down. An arm rest protector you would put around the edges to hold it still, and so on.

Best Answer: Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to use there on leather as it will put permanent holes in the leather. We hope this information will be of help to you.
Upholstery pins are for fabric on fabric use as far as I know . The pins would tear the leather , leaving holes all over your furniture as you twist them in or out .
How to use these pins on the fabric sofa?
Best Answer: Place each pin exactly where you want to attach something to your fabric sofa ( sofa cover, etc.) Press down and turn to the right at the same time. Keep turning until the head of the pin is all the way down to the fabric. To remove the pins, just turn to the left.
These pins have a very sharp pointed end. You put the point on the fabric...then twist/screw them in...I hope this helps. They stay in very well and don't harm the fabric! To remove....simply untwist them...
Thank you for your question. Turn the lock clockwise to screw it into upholstery and counter clockwise to remove it. We hope this information will be of help to you.
Thank You,

I could not get them to work. They kept breaking. Wouldn't recommend
will upholstery locks damage a leather chair?
A shopper on May 26, 2015
Best Answer: I used upholstery pins on a fabric reclining chair that is used many times a day, the reclining portion slipping over the pins each time. No problem with fabric tearing after 2 years of constant use. They may do just fine on leather, leaving pin holes where the pin goes through the leather. In time the pin holes may meld into the leather.
Sorry, I hit enter before I finished my answer. Anyway, the lock is screwed through the fabric into the furniture and as you sit on the fabric, it WILL naturally pull on the screwed in wire holding the fabric. I use them on my couches which are micro fiber, on the backside. I would be afraid to use them on leather!!
Yes, they will put a pinhole in the leather. I wouldn't want holes in my leather.
IWould not use them on leather In using them on fabric I watch them cloße.
What do you reccommend to hold fabric protectors on a leather recliner?
Best Answer: I found that twist pins work really well.
