Work great
These work great. We gave furniture savers on our furniture for our fur baby, so she can sit with us, they keep the cover in falling off and they don't rip the material.

Very hard to find!
I have been searching for these for a long time. They are perfect to secure a doily or other cover to protect upholstered furniture. They're also easy to release so you can remove or reposition the cover.

The spiral pins are somewhat shorter than I remember, but these seem to screw in and hold firmly.

The cats don't win
I have used these pins to tack plastic or other materials on the edges of my couch and recliner to keep the cats (3) from using the furniture as scratching posts.

twist pins work
I used these to help hold down the recliner chair cover. They go in easy, and so far have stayed in place. When installing I found out that you need to be sure there isn't any wood structure underneath, or they won't go in properly.

I have used these Twist Pins previously. They work great for holding upholstered chair arm and back protection covers. They do not come out by themselves and stay just where you put them.

Have an upholstery project coming up and was wanting to use upholstery style pins, am hoping with these being twist and turn that they may be easier than hammering the others in.

IHow to display or pin the best way to the sofa? Is there an arrangement for using them on the sofa?
Firouzeh F on Jan 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Depends on the type of cover you are using. I positioned them about 24" apart at the bottom of the cover that laps over tbe back of the sofa. Used them to keep the back cover from falling down onto the sofa seat. Don't pin along the front edge. It will cause the pins to tear the cover &/or the sofa. Also used a couple pins on the bsck of each arm.
Can upholstery pins be used on leather furniture?
A shopper on Dec 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to use there on leather as it will put permanent holes in the leather. We hope this information will be of help to you.
How to use these pins on the fabric sofa?
Firouzeh F on Jan 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Place each pin exactly where you want to attach something to your fabric sofa ( sofa cover, etc.) Press down and turn to the right at the same time. Keep turning until the head of the pin is all the way down to the fabric. To remove the pins, just turn to the left.
will upholstery locks damage a leather chair?
A shopper on May 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I used upholstery pins on a fabric reclining chair that is used many times a day, the reclining portion slipping over the pins each time. No problem with fabric tearing after 2 years of constant use. They may do just fine on leather, leaving pin holes where the pin goes through the leather. In time the pin holes may meld into the leather.
What do you reccommend to hold fabric protectors on a leather recliner?
Judy S on Dec 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I found that twist pins work really well.
