Fun to use!

Comments about Pastry Shaper:
I got this handy gadget just in time to make mini cherry pie bites. It was fun to use and easy too! Just remember that you can press pretty deep because the 'crust' whether it be cookie dough or pie crust...it will get thicker as it rises. Some of mine were too thick and could only hold one cherry! It was fun and people liked them a lot. They looked so festive and the job was done in no time because I didn't have to hand-press each and every one!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

WD had the best price

I looked and looked for a pastry tamper with slanted sides, and would fit inside the pan. This one does it, and it does 2 sizes. Using a little piece of plastic wrap between the pastry and tamper stops it from sticking, make the process of making tart shells go very quickly.
FANCY but EASY Baking
About Me Avid Cook
Until I tried this handy little gadget - I had given up on making tarts or fancy dishes requiring the "moulding" of the danged pantry. ACK. THIS makers it EASY and FAST. Even if you use canned bisquits - plop it into the bottom of a cupcake well and push down; the excess comes up the walls - evenly - with this gizmo. Voila! Same goes for pastry dough, graham cracker crust, etc. Once you;ve tried it - you'll be looking for excuses to use it again. Great for portioning foodm too !
Just a bit Cracked
from STOCKTON, CA
Was a little disappointed that it was cracked, but I guess I can still use it as the end I bought it for was not the end that was cracked
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Best tart shaper
from Johnstown, PA
I had a tart shaper that I purchased at a kitchenware party. This one is SO much better as it conforms very well to the shape of the mini tart pans.
Great holiday & everyday kitchen gadget!
This item is a great time saver when tamping out dough in tart or cupcake pans! No more fingernail holes in your dough and it does it so quickly and neatly that my tart crusts were even and uniform. You do need to flour it before tamping each time but that's to be expected, just as you'd flour your rolling pin. Excellent product, great price! I'm very glad I purchased!

I love to cook, and making small tarts this is the best cut my work down by a couple of hours when doing 20 dozen of them. Wish I had found this a few years ago.
Great Kitchen tool!

Large enough to hold on to and use with ease. Does just what it is suppose to. Did stick to dough a little at first, but most wooden tools do. I bought this out of curiousity, but am so glad I did.
