I found them to stain easily and hard to clean, I agree they leave a coating on them that I couldn't clean...they are not magnetic as someone else asked about...no "plus" from me...

I purchased the heat plates and after a few uses they became covered with a white coating. I washed them and placed the black paste on them again they had the white covering. I purchased some plates about 15 yrs ago from wdrake and the metal was very heavy and they lasted for years. These are not the same the material is not the same. I would not recommend these for that reason.

Good idea but bad quality

Looked nice in catalog and on receipt. Covered ugly electric burners.
I love the cast iron heat plates!
from Salem, OR
I have an older stove and these burner plates make it look brand new. Just love them. Bought two sets, one small and one large.
