[{"textkey":1,"title":"Description","text":"Make sure everyone has easy access to elevated areas with this convenient mobility step from Walter Drake. The grooved surface on this step provides added traction and reduces the risk of slips and falls. This portable stair helps those with limited mobility to comfortably climb steps indoors or out. It reduces the height of a standard step by half and creates a safer environment for those with trouble climbing stairs. Drainage holes are included to prevent moisture buildup in outdoor applications. Made from durable, weather-resistant plastic, this low-profile stepping stool weighs only 4 1/2 lbs., so it\u0027s easy to move around as needed. Helpful, but not long enough.
I bought it to put on the garage floor below the step into the house which is too steep. It's made it easier to step up a shorter distance. However, 2 are needed side by side to be able to step out of the house without looking to make sure one doesn't step off the edge. Wish there was a 40" length available.

Great product. Does not bend in the middle and does what it says. Made it easier to get in and out of the door. Have outside and rain goes thru holes so no slipping. Ice may build up but this is what happens when you have outside.

Functional But Not Durable
I'm on my second purchase of this plastic step. The first step I purchased split in the middle because there's no support underneath the middle portion of the step. With my second purchase I'll have to remember to place my weight more to the outside portions of the step instead of the middle portion. It's still functional but the step design could use the same support in the middle that's on each side.

I’ve had one for a year and love it. It’s like a step needed for entering the door from outside. Perfect for seniors.

There is one step up to get into my house and my dear friend cannot make the step. With this mobility step and the width it offers, she is now able to get to make the one step up to enter my house. Really glad to have found this item!

I use a walker. Have used this mobility step for more than 7 years. These are my fourth replacements. They last between 24 and 30 months in the wet weather associated with Key West Florida and Willamette Valley Oregon weather.

My husband uses one of these steps in one area of our house. The step is very helpful, as it's only 4" high (many others are quite a bit steeper); he's asked for two more for other areas of the house.

Many seniors live in my one-story condo neighborhood and we all have an unusually high step up from the garage floor into the kitchen/laundry area. Several of us have ordered this stool, and it's the perfect size to help eliminate falls! I'm ordering this one today for a neighbor who needs assistance with that pesky step!

does it slip on wooded floors?
Jud G on Jul 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have 3 Mobility Steps. One is on a wooded floor & one is on a carpet and the final one is on concrete which is my outside front step. I have had no problem with any of the floors that the step is on. No slipping ever even though I walk with a walker in and out of my house. I have suggested these steps to my friends and family members. BTW they help me tremendously. Shirley Dragon
how high is the step?
A shopper on Apr 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The step is 3 and 1/2 inches and the step into my house is 8 inches, so it makes it half the amount of height to step up into the door. It's great.
