Don' t know yet just put it around my trees on June,30,2019, only been three days, but don't look good so far. I water morning and evenings because it's been hot and it will dry out, but now I notice that it's getting a lot of rips in it, no sprouts yet. But don't think it will mount too anything.

Will need potting soil before using. Instructions do not tell you which side goes up.

Turned out a Dud
I followed the instructions to the T when I planted the mat. I water every day in the evening. I bought them early April from Miles Kimbell and planted the day I got them. The grass and weeds are growing back through the dirt and mat and higher than the sprouts. Within 5 days the seeds sprouted, but that was about all its ever done. Apparently they go through a xray at the airport or something and it ruins the seeds. I have had that happen before.

Just What I Was Expecting
I put this over my pets graves to give beauty to the area and hope not to eventually mow the area. The place is partially shady so this type of flower roll was what I needed. The price was great. Last year I used packets of seeds and nothing came from them. I wanted to try this form of flower starting and so far within 4 days the seeds were sprouting.2 weeks later the sprouts are about 3/4 inch or 1 inch tall.I think I will get flowers this time.

We relocated to a home that sat empty for 5 years which encompasses almost 5 acres. Finished renovating the house and the prospect of landscaping all that ground is a bit mind boggling. Hope this will jump start the flowers around the house itself so I can move on to the rest of the property.

I have a lot of shade in my backyard, and it's hard to grow anything. The other roll-out mats I've seen aren't necessarily for shade, and they're more expensive. So I was able to buy 3 from you!

I'm planting a wildflower garden on a hill. I'm hoping this works!
Mary S on Mar 23, 2017
These mats will be placed on a down hill grade. I am in hopes they will hold the light soil and see framework together long enough to take root before the rain washes everything down hill. Why Walter Drake. You just can't find roll out wildflower mats anywhere locally.
