Just what I was looking for!
Ordered a tub hose sprayer to use with this, and I love it. Have had 2 hips replaced and one knee, and had a hard time getting out of tub. Now not problem. I put a towel on the seat, and it is very comfortable. Thanks

Shower seat
I'm unstable on my feet so I found this seat great for taking showers while sitting. I can also shave my legs with ease. Love that it is adjustable.

Very Handy Tub Seat
I like this product. As a disabled person, the adjustable height feature makes it easier to get down into and lift out of the tub.

OK, works
I'm overweight with a sciatic problem. It was too narrow and when I went to put weight on it (to stand) it kept starting to tilt and my hands slid down the handles. SCARY!

Tub perhaps, not Shower
Fine for the tub, but got it for shaving my legs in the shower-only master bathroom in my new place, buy there is no way to position it so the water doesn't wash off the shave-cream before I'm done.

Original design incorporates good idea for special problems in a narrow tub.
Leslie L on Oct 16, 2018
It is very difficult to get out of the tub safely (do not care for showers). because of difficulty bending knees. I have a stool I can sit on now, but there is nothing to grab on to to get up. Only one bathtub side to grab, other side is almost flat against wall-nothing to hang on to. Hopefully this will help.

Is the seat part all metal and slippery?
Mark C on Mar 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The entire seat is made of metal, with little safe rubber feet. I find it is not that slippery. Just take care, no matter what your conditions.

I have used mine for quite some time in an old fashioned iron porcelain bathtub. I use a rubber mat in the bottom of the tub just for general safety, as it gives me a non-slip surface to stand on when entering the tub or leaving it.

The seat has nice rubber feet on each of its 4 legs.. i've never had a fall when using i, but then I am very slow, and careful whenever entering the tub or my glass enclosed stand-up shower stall. I am 85 years old, and not as well balanced when standing as I once was, to every movement I make is made carefully. Falls can be quite dangerous, so I am am very careful and slow about most things I do.

I recommend this product, but also encourage any one who uses it to take care, whatever your physical condition or your surroundings. I have not had any problem using seat like this one. I place a clean small towel on the seat when I sit, and find it very relaxing to be able to have the feet in the warm water while sitting to shower and bathe.

How wide is it? At what height can you set it?
Linda C on Apr 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question This item assembles to 4 heights to meet individual needs. White painted metal with 20" H grips and nonskid rubber feet supports 200 lbs.; tub seat is 16 3/8" x 10 5/8". We hope this information will be of help to you.
Saying "4 heights" is not helpful - what are the heights? Thank you.
A shopper on Jan 13, 2017
